This is one of the Muslim mosques in KL. We were not allowed in, but we were able to walk around the outside. You can hear the depressing tones of chants and songs from these places all over the city throughout the day.
wow, sounds like y'all have done so much already! if all of that happened in just 1 day, imagine what God's gonna do with the WHOLE SUMMER!!! do you have to take your shoes off before you go into some places? or is that somewhere else?? lol love and miss y'all loads!!!
Isn't it incredible that such beautuful buildings could be built to worship a dead god. I have been inside a mosque several times. We had to take our shoes off to go in. There are no pews, just rectangles on the floor where the Muslims bow to Mohammed. It is so depressing.
I know that God is already using you in a mighty way over there, and will continue to do so.
I found a website that tells the weather over there on an up to the minute basis. It appears very warm and humid.
Hey Mitchell. It was so great to read about what's happening so far. It's Saturday here and we're having the choir crawfish boil. I'll miss you. Can we play a little jack johnson for the choir? Ha. yea you right. (lb said to say that part). Nyway - miss you tons and love you love you love you. Keep havin a great time!
hey dude. Great to hear how things are going. It's so cool to hear about how music is already helping to bridge relationship. As I read this it's so hard to believe you are so far away. I am so proud of you in all you are doing. Bout to go eat some crawfish. I'll eat some for you. Take care bro !! Praying for you !!
Mitch - it sounds like you are havin such an amazing experience already. I can't even imagine what all you are goin through. God works in the most mysterious and wonderful ways. He has blessed you with such amazing gifts. I'm so proud of you for using them for Him! He will be(and is!) blessing you as you bless His name. I'm prayin for you and all the people that you will meet every day. God has given you a wonderful heart and I can't wait to hear about how God uses that to show the Muslims what they are missing.
Here at camp we just finished our second day (1st full day) of training. I had no idea there would be so much to learn! But it's going to be so much fun.
I miss y'all so so much!!! Can't wait to see more pics! :) Love you guys tons and prayin for you always.
It's about 6:20 on Sunday morning here in Baton Rouge. Thought I'd let you know that the choir crawfish boil was awesome. I took our grill up there and cooked burgers for the light weights that can handle mud bugs.
Send up some more cool pics. That was really incredible what you said in your blog about using music/songs to teach the lost about Jesus. Have a great day!
Dear James, FYI - Muslims don't pray to Prophet of Almighty - Mohammed(PBUH), The prayer is to one and only God, to whom no relations (like son) can be made.
So next time before you guys comment, please get your information right, get assistance from your local islamic centres and try to learn what it is, or just use intenet and you should be smart enough to find which sites are neutral and tell the facts as they are(There are tons of propoganda sites, don't be mislead by them).
