Hey
Hello. I know it's been a while since I have posted, but I just moved into an apt with no internet access and everything has just kicked up a bunch. Things are going great. Over the next couple of weeks, I probably won't have much time to do postings, but I just want you all to know that I am praying for you and thinking of you. I will try and update soon.

Hey Mitchell- I hope all is well in________. Choir tour was great, we really bonded as a group. We stayed up until 2:00 one night doing Bible study. It was awesome. We're starting a student-led Bible study for the youth. I'm praying for y'all.
2 Tim. 4:2
Hey dude, glad to hear everything is still going good. Miss you like crazy, but I'm so proud of you man. Keep up the good work!
Hey Mitchell,
Saw your note and thought I'd drop you a line. We have our patriotic service this morning and the youth choir musical tonight.
The drama is really good. Brody Burkhalter plays Davy Crockett. Michael White Jr. is a biology professor, Cecile Kirk is a school teacher, Jonathon Alexander is the "New Guy" - representing Jesus, Trey Doyle is an inquisitive high school guy, Ashley White, Benjamin gets saved (I think), Meredith Caldwell and LB are high school girls with lots of "drama" - and Sam Alexander is Mr. Ferguson - the high school gym coach! Pretty crazy stuff. These kids are talented, and I'm going to be looking for ways to involve these kids in worship.
Hope you rest well tonight, and I look forward to seeing more pics.
By the way, I am in the process of transferring to NOBTS effective this fall to finish my doctoral work in Worship Ministry. Maybe we can commute together some. Much of my doctoral work will be done on-line, but I may need a class that is scheduled for Friday in the fall. Will keep you posted.
Love you, Dad
Hey Man, glad to hear all is well with you. I thought I would send you a note, to let you know that we are praying for you. Sounds like you might need a prayer or two over the next couple of weeks. We are looking forward to seeing you. Stay in God's will and keep us posted.
heyyy mitch!!! i'm so anxious to hear about everything. i am thinking of you and praying for you every chance i get. i love you and i am just sooo excited for you...! love u, bic.
Mitch, Mitch, Mitch...
Your little niece-puppy is ready to meet you! I'm trying not to feed her very much so she'll stay small for you. LOL--Just kidding. She is still really small and cute, though. She can't wait to meet you. K-Sil & I are big chillin'--you know how we do on Sunday nights...a little school work (will it ever stop?)...a little cleaning...a little tending to the puppy. Other than that, it's just a regular day. Nothing exciting like you and Matt dropping by and eating me out of house and home. Ha. Just kidding. Well, I can't WAIT to see you. Your birthday is coming up! Oh my goodness...21 years old? Wow! We are getting old (no offense to anyone reading this that actually IS old...like Mike White or somebody like that...) :) Please take care of yourself, Mitch, and if you get a chance, give us a call. We're, like, crying over here. Love you tons! :)
Mitchell,
It's amazing to click on the JBC website and realize that you really are on the other side of the world. I know God has big plans for you and this is a wonderful area to bring you closer to the Lord.
I was feeling sorry for you b/c I figured your culinary choices were limited and/or a little scary and then... I saw the golden arches... You could get a Big Mac!!!??? Come on, I want stories of meals consisting of monkey brains, goat innards, and squishy insect paste. That's the dumb American coming out in me.
Keep up the great work and know that you are in our prayers.
Hope everything is going good. Have fun on your time off. Wear plenty of sunscreen if you get out in the sun !! We are celebrating the 4th at the church. We'll probably go see a movie tonight. I'll get back to you Thursday with some recents pics. Love you bro and miss you - Steve
Hey Mitchell:
Just wanted to send our love to you. We sooo enjoyed seeing the youth kids, Steve, your dad, and Laura Beth, but we missed you terribly...We love you and are completely praying for your safety and God's guidance for your every word and deed... Know that people are praying for you across the states... Love you, Miss Robin, Mr. Robby, Emily, and Allie
Hey Mitch!! I hope you're havin fun on your trip this weekend! I think your package should be there by the time you get back!! At least I hope so.. We're almost done w/ our 5th camp.. It is FLYIN by!! Well.. Just wanted to say hey. Miss you!!! See you in a few weeks :)
M-Dawg -
Dude, Happy belated 4th of July. We had a great service Sunday and the picnic yesterday was great. Your dad and me and Toliver played the American Trilogy and your dad sang God Bless the USA. Toliver and a few folks had a patriotic sing-along which was fun to hear. Of course, the battery in my pickup was dead so, my guitar was hard to hear. The kids played on the slides and all that and we had some fried yard bird. Yum yum.
Me and LB and M.E. and Chip Davis got together Monday night and worked on a pretty cool version of Sweet, Sweet Spirit that Chip wrote. It's a capella and it sounds incredible. Well, not incredible yet, but it will. Knowing papa Chip, we will still be working on it after you come back so, I think you'll get to hear the debut.
Other than that, everything is about normal. Skylar sends her love. She is in Kentucky right now with her mom and step dad but they will be back Sunday for VBS.
Tell er'body in ______________ that we say hi.
And watch for faling trees.
Oh, a joke - Did you hear about the dyslexic devil worshipper?
He sold his soul to Santa.
Love you broseph.

Mr. Ken
Mitchell it's time for you to come home. I miss you so much. It's Monday night in B.R. and not a whole lot goin on right now. Of course that could change at any moment. It was craziness around the office today for VBS. But the kiddos were havin a blast. Not the same without seeing you with a few kids hanging off of you, though. Mrs. Jane Wilson called today and she asked about you. She's been reading your blog and keeping up and she couldn't believe all the stuff that's happened (i.e. fish bone, sunburn, tree down, etc.) and still God is taking care of you. Amazing. Anyway, she sends her regards and is anxious to hear all about it.
I hope you get to access your blog page soon and see your messages and know that we are keeping you close in thoughts and prayers.
Lots and lots of love is constantly coming your way.
Love,
Mom
Ah! I miss you! Talking to the Lilly's about you today almost made me cry. In missions (at VBS), we were watching a movie about some missionaries in Madagascar who play baseball with the people there. Of course I thought of you because of all the sports you have been playing to build relationships with people over there. You should also know that you have a lot of "little people" like Madison Perry and Isaac Miller (and others) that have been praying for you and asking about you. They are both in my VBS class. I am teaching with Gisella Gautreaux and Colleen Sapp. Benj and Ashley are our (awesome) youth helpers. Anyway, today I told Madison that I was ready for you to come home because you had been gone for a long time. She said, "Yeah, but it's good because he's telling people about God." :)Kids always have a way of helping you keep things in perspective. I love you so much and can't wait to see you. How do you feel about us going to Fernando's in your honor on your birthday? Ha! We'll even order some Queso Fundido! :) Love you more than words can say. Can't wait to see you!
Ummm...the message above was from me (Lindz)...not sure why it says Kyle. I guess because I'm on his computer.
Hahahahaha looking back, it is going to be really funny if someone reads that message and thinks it's from Kyle. Hahahah...I can't figure out how to change it. But I'm sure Kyle loves you as much as I do. Ha
I just got through reading Kyle's really sweet note to you. As I read Kyle's note to you, I was thinking, how 'bout that sentimental son-in-law of mine. And then I read the part about him teaching in VBS, and I said "wait a minute." Kyle isn't teaching in VBS. Curiousity got the best of me, so I scanned down to Lindsays posts, just to see what was up, and sure enough, Lindsay had unwhittingly used Kyle's name as her identity.
Too funny, lol!!! How 'bout some new pics? I know you have limited access to the internet and all, but when you get a chance, we'd like to see what you look like.
Praying that you have an awesome week.
Love, DAD
oh mitch, mitch, mitch. sometimes i get on this page with intentions of writing you and the i get caught up reading what everyone else posted! HAHAHA! well whatever. I MISS YOU! DO YOU HEAR ME? I MIIIISSSSS YOOOOOOOOOUU!! oh and by the way, ill be the first to rat little miss "i won't eat fernados for your sake" out...because i think you and i both know that...well....she's been visiting fernando a lot!! hehe. (just kidding lindz...but not.) well i miss you a ton. jordan hung out with us at youth vbs tonight! which made me miss you even more. oh and i made ooey gooey for the youth tonight!! they loved it lol!!! it was pretty fabulous if i do say so myself! well i cant wait to hear from you again! love you so so so so much!
First of all LB is forgetting that she already ratted me out once and furthermore that I confessed to my wrongdoing. Second of all, I have only visited Fernando once. I didn't sit with our family, either. So...yeah...that doesn't count. At least I'm not eating there every Sunday. So...there! :) Love you, L.B. And you, too, Mitch.
Mitch if you are reading this please check your Gmail account (if possible). Mrs. Judy is trying to ask you something important. Love you so much. I think I'm monopolizing your blog page or something.
I care so much about you that I haven't eaten Fernandos at ALL this summer. No way dude, not without you. I haven't eaten at Olive Garden, Chili's, Deangelos, Podnuhs, Pizza Hut, Golden Corral, J. Alexanders, Cheesecake Bistro, Chic-Fil-A, Louisiana Pizza Kitchen - none of our regular spots. Not til you get home. I know we're not biologically related but I must care about you more than your REAL family !! LOL !
Hey Mitchell,
Thanks for the new pics! Awesome camera work, too.
It looks like you guys are really packing 'em in for worship. How awesome to see children, youth and adults praising God together! I know the Father is pleased. I can't tell what language you all are singing in, but it looks like everyone is worshipping - heart and Soul!
Keep up the great work. With your permission, I may show a couple of your slides in worship next week.
We're on the home stretch. Less than a month to go. Praise God for your courage and willingness to walk through open doors of ministry.
Sole Deo Gloria! (Means - To God Be the Glory! That's how Bach signed his musical works)
