We Experience God (Tree Down)
Wow! The past few days have been great & CRAZY! The Lord protects His people. The team hear is testimony to God's protection and care. Just yesterday we were all eating lunch near the beach and the weather seemed to be nice. All of a sudden this bad weather started kicking up and the wind was blowing pretty strong. We didn't think much of it because it's around the time when rain season is beginning. So, we were heading out and everyone was getting in the van. We were all in already, except one of the girls, when this tree fell on top of us. It crushed the door that the girl was standing in, but she was able to get away in time. CRAZY!

Last night at Bible Study, we talked about God being the God of all things. We went through so many scriptures that were revelation of who God is. He is so many things. He is everything. All we need is Him. He has made a way for us. He has called us by name. We must be obedient and He will show Himself to us.
Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.
John 14:21
I hope everyone is enjoying the summer. We've been playing soccer and doing different things. Continue to pray for us as we are trying to build relationships.
Thank you all for your encouragement and prayers.
1 Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Ephesians 5:1&2
Know God and make him known!
Show love.

hey Mitchell- what an awesome example of God's protection. World Changers was an awesome experience. There were 3 boys saved in the neighborhood by the church we worked at. Also, God provided all week. Wood and sheet rock were donated, and two professional roofers freely gave their labor. I think everyone that went was truly changed by the worship services too. One night there was a Silent Service, and it was amazing! Wish you could have been there. We're praying for you!

Wow! What a great story. What a great lesson about God's protection and provision.
Glad you all escaped harm, and recognize how the Lord provides for those who serve Him. Also, glad we got the little sunburn under control. No more water parks, w/o sunsceen!
We're making the big push, getting ready for youth choir tour this coming Sunday through Thursday. Same basic agenda as last year: Granny & Pappy's church Sunday night, Monday to Arlington, Tuesday - Missions work at Mission Arlington, and Wednesday, we'll be passing out tracks at Six Flags all day, plus maybe hit a coaster, or two hundred!
Steve is really wishing you were here to help count out the meal money, and put it in envelopes for the kids! lol.
Let me hear from you.
Love, Dad
Mitchell-
I am just simply in awe over the tree incident.
I think it is a miracle that nobody was hurt or killed. It is absolute proof of God's total and complete care for us. I know He is looking out for you every second of every day.
Please keep me in your prayers. I had additional cancer screening today. I will not have results until the week of July 1.
Keep up the good work. I love you my friend.

Going to the water park, playing soccer, dining at casual beach restaurants in ____________. Are you two working at all?????
Glad to hear you weren't squashed by a tree. That would make for a difficult trip back. Not to mention the fact that you were squashed by a tree.
So this Cajun fella says to the other Cajun fella "Hey brah, how do you feel about Roe vs. Wade? The other guy goes, "I feel the same as George Washington?" The first guy responds, "What do you mean?" The second guy says, "Like when he got to the Deleware River, he had to make a choice, row or wade. I would row."

miss you bro. Keep up the good work. I am glad to know things are going well. Oh, and watch out for the deadly "street fish." I hear they're the next great epidemic.
Hey Mitchell! Pretty wild about that tree coming down. I showed the pic to Bro. French. He said "we better be prayin' for those boys". The youth choir tour is tomorrow and they are excited I think. They are a great group. A super group of kids. I think they'll have a great time. They will head to Granny and Pappy's right after the morning worship service. Keep them in your prayers this week!!! Love and miss you like crazy, Mitch.
Love,
Mom
p.s. I had a banana laffy taffy the other day and the joke on the wrapper reminded me of you! You and your fish foot incident:
Q: What is a fish's favorite country?
A: Finland.
God is good. Stay encouraged by that.
you need to update this.
